Internet products & services
Computer Centre is now well established in providing internet services to a wide range of users:
- Pay As You Go service for the occasional user, no contract, no minimum fees, just pay by the minute as you require. Also useful as a backup service, and for mobile users. Includes a No-Charge email address.
- Fixed monthly rate service which means no surprises at the end of the month for those who need internet access frequently. Also may include a No-Charge email address.
- BROADBAND : home and business plans. There is a wide range of different product services under this one title, and we advise on the best for your needs and circumstances. Broadband connection makes the internet run at a realistic speed, usually about ten times faster than a normal dialup. Costs of broadband have now dropped to affordable levels. Discuss with us if you need advice.
- Wireless Networking can be combined with normal or broadband internet access, to give the service to all computers in the building. Standard wireless speed is still 11Mbps, with faster protocols becoming more popular. There are various ways of configuring such a network, and can be combined with a cabled network to provide optimum benefit. (see our networking products).
- Company Email systems. This is a highly specialised area, and we will be pleased to discuss your specific requirements.
N.B. Anti-spam and Anti-virus services available for company email.
- Normal email service, either one-offs or by your own domain name (.co.uk or .com or other options).
- Web site design, maintenance, and hosting is a service which can only be done properly by personal service, so speak to us.
- Selling your product or service on the internet? You need ECommerce. This is not a “one plan suits all” area, so again – speak to us for advice.
